RPV Industries Pvt Ltd. is a pioneer in India for Eco-friendly, Recyclable products manufacturer and supplier of Magnesium oxide Boards (MgO boards). With the strong research and technical team, we have developed MgO RPV Green Boards which is not only Eco friendly, Recyclable but has unmatched numerous uno properties of Excellent Fire protection with smoke free and no spread of fire, Thermal resistance, water and Moisture resistant. It is non toxic, fibers reinforced with natural Earth ore minerals . RPV Green Boards are light weight though strong and impact resistant Boards and has multiple applications by fixing with wooden or steel frame for False Ceilings, Wall partition, sub flooring and roof Underlayment, prefab Constructions etc.'
The construction industry is the second largest contributor to India GDP. Not only does it accompany huge economic potential but is also among the biggest employment providers. According to government reports, the sector was valued over $126 billion in 2016 and it continues on a steady growth path.
The Major problem which india is facing non availability of unskilled Labour, Environmental Pollution, Water scarcity and Green products. Affordable housing is still a major concern in India as it urgently needs to provide economical housing in the shortest timeframe. While the selection of construction technology and material should satisfy aspects such as ease of construction and lower cost, it is equally important to ensure sustainability. In an effort to provide quality, affordable housing in the shortest possible time.
RPV Green Boards is a green material, which means it can be reused at the same native strength at which it was produced. It is innovative, Being light in weight, it is easily transportable. In pre-engineered buildings (PEBs) too, it can be used as roof cladding and as wall cladding. A huge challenge lies in creating awareness regarding the choice of material to be used for construction especially in coastal areas and areas where the risk of seismic activity is high (Zone V). Typically a “one size fits all” approach is adopted and a wrong choice of using concrete is made considering that the initial cost of steel is more. Also, home owners spend a huge amount on non-structural elements like false ceiling, tiles, bathroom fittings, etc, but skimp when it comes to structural applications. Therefore, a paradigm shift in mindset – from a concrete to a steel intensive structure – is needed to ensure wind and earthquake resistance, etc. Another challenge is lack of skilled labour; training is crucial to use such innovative technologies and materials.
Green buildings are ageless in the true sense! Actually Green Homes or Eco-friendly houses are not a new concept.
What are Green Buildings?
Buildings (Commercial or Residential) are one of the main dominant consumers of natural resources, having a major environmental impact during one‘s lifetime. As we understand and accept the impact of the constructed buildings on environment, we need to ensure appropriate usage and functioning of the resources used in a building. This process of mindfully using resources in a building is seen as an effort towards creating a green environment. The buildings constructed using this approach are green buildings -
Thus the need of the hour is to construct as many Green Buldings as possible to minimize the load and demand from natural resources. Energy Efficiency : Lower ‘U’ values assure better thermal insulation thus providing comfortable indoor climate – reduce energy demand for air conditioning. Green New buildings can have tremendous benefits, in reduction of water and energy consumption. The energy savings could range from 20 - 30 % and water savings around 30 - 50%.
